We Have The Means, But Do We Have The Will? NASFAA President Dallas Martin Addresses NCHELP Conference Attendees

Abstract:

NASFAA President Dallas Martin posed that question to participants at the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs (NCHELP) legislative conference yesterday. Martin shared his observations about the progress of student financial since he began at NASFAA almost 32 years ago. While there have been many successes along the way, Martin expressed concern about some troubling trends that could shake the country’s economic stability. Of particular concern to Martin is the polarized, unreasonable partisanship that has gripped Washington D.C. in recent years. But despite his concerns, Martin remains optimistic.
