You were in the marching band, key club, and were a member of a college fraternity or sorority? That’s great! But, not so great for a resume. This article lists ten items that should be left off a resume. Resumes don’t get jobs, they get interviews, and interviews require a whole different set of tactics. University of Michigan Financial Aid Director Pamela Fowler says that aid administrators who are looking for a promotion or better position should focus on improving and demonstrating qualities in two broad categories: people skills and analytical skills.
